This Week at sunday+: Building Bridges and Finding Our People

This week looked a little different for us. We were traveling, which meant our usual rhythm was a bit off. But even on the move, we found ourselves surrounded by the very thing that keeps sunday+ growing: connection.

While on the road, we lined up a few conversations that feel like turning points. Through the founder of Kinship, we were introduced to someone with an incredible depth of knowledge in the space we’re exploring. And in one of those “right place, right time” moments, that connection led us to a Dr. who specializes in sports bras. someone who has spent years shaping the kind of design and innovation we’ve dreamed about learning from.

Next week, we’ll be meeting both of them and heading to the Functional Fabric Fair together. We can’t wait to walk the floor, ask questions, and soak in everything we can about what’s next for performance and comfort.

And as if the universe wanted to drive the point home. That first connection also happens to be friends with another sports bra legend who teaches at U of O’s PDX campus. It’s a reminder that when you lead with curiosity and kindness, the right doors tend to open at just the right time.

This week reminded us why we started sunday+ in the first place, to build something that brings people together, learns from the best, and grows through genuine connection.
We’re so grateful to be on this path, and to have a community cheering us on as we take the next steps.
